DESCRIPTION:Since April 1\, 2015\, a mandatory Chief Prevention Officer approved Working at Heights Training Program has been required by workers in the construction sector. \nThe Chief Prevention Officer of the Ministry of Labour has approved Mentor Safety’s Niagara Working at Heights Training Program. \nProgram Length – 8 hours – 8:30 am – 4:30 PM\nCourse Fees – $150.00 + HST \nModule 1: Working at Heights Basic Theory Module \n\nRights and Responsibilities\nIdentification of the Hazards of Working at Heights\nEliminating or Controlling the Hazards of Working at Heights\nWarning Methods and Physical Barriers\nLadders and Similar Equipment\nPersonal Fall Protection Equipment\n\nModule 2: Working at Heights Practical Equipment Module \n\nBarriers and Safety Nets\nPersonal Fall Protection Equipment\nAnchor Points\nWork Positioning Systems\nWork Access Equipment and Platforms\nRescue Planning\n\nEvaluation and Proof of Completion\nAll participants are required to pass a written test with a minimum mark of 75% and a practical test with a mark of 100%. Proof of completion will be provided. \nRequired: Photo I.D must be present at the beginning of class. Proper footwear is required\, no open-toe shoes or high heeled shoes allowed. DESCRIPTION:Since April 1\, 2015\, a mandatory Chief Prevention Officer approved Working at Heights Training Program has been required by workers in the construction sector. \nThe Chief Prevention Officer of the Ministry of Labour has approved Mentor Safety’s Niagara Working at Heights Training Program. \nProgram Length – 8 hours – 8:30 am – 4:30 PM\nCourse Fees – $150.00 + HST \nModule 1: Working at Heights Basic Theory Module \n\nRights and Responsibilities\nIdentification of the Hazards of Working at Heights\nEliminating or Controlling the Hazards of Working at Heights\nWarning Methods and Physical Barriers\nLadders and Similar Equipment\nPersonal Fall Protection Equipment\n\nModule 2: Working at Heights Practical Equipment Module \n\nBarriers and Safety Nets\nPersonal Fall Protection Equipment\nAnchor Points\nWork Positioning Systems\nWork Access Equipment and Platforms\nRescue Planning\n\nEvaluation and Proof of Completion\nAll participants are required to pass a written test with a minimum mark of 75% and a practical test with a mark of 100%. Proof of completion will be provided. \nRequired: Photo I.D must be present at the beginning of class. Proper footwear is required\, no open-toe shoes or high heeled shoes allowed. If you do not meet these requirements\, Mentor can refuse you access to the classroom and you will not receive a refund. \nNote: Group sessions can be booked either at our training location in London\, Niagara or\, at your location.
