DESCRIPTION:Program Length – 8 hours – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm\nCourse Fees – $225.00 + HST \nCourse Content \n\nRecognize and describe a confined space\nDescribe confined space hazards\nReview OHSA and regulations for confined space\nDescribe various hazard handling techniques\nUnderstanding the permit system\nUnderstand basic rescue\n\nEvaluation and Proof of Completion\nAll participants will be required to complete and pass a written test with a minimum mark of 75% and a practical test with a mark of 100%. Proof of completion will be provided. \nRequired: Photo I.D must be present at the beginning of class. Proper footwear is required\, no open toe shoes or high heeled shoes allowed. If you do not meet these requirements\, Mentor can refuse you access to the classroom and you will not receive a refund. \nNote: Group sessions can be booked either at our training location in London\, Niagara or at your location. Contact Mentor Safety for details. \nCOVID-19 Protocol: Upon entering our facility for training you will have to follow our COVID Protocols in order to participant in the training. This includes sanitizing your hands upon entry\, filling out a COVID questionnaire\, passing a temperature check using a Seek Scan device\, and wearing a face mask as directed.
