Forklift Training Program (November 9, 2020)

This program provides employees with Forklift Truck Operator safety training, prescribed by legislation, in order to obtain the ability to operate equipment in a safe, competent manner and work safely in their environment and around other employees.

Program Length – 8 hours*

Program Objectives:

• Understand the theory and principles involved in the safe operation of a forklift truck.
• Know your legal responsibilities in forklift truck operation.
• To recognize hazards associated with forklift truck operation and to recommend or suggest solutions.
• To verify practical knowledge of course content & skills evaluation

Who Would Benefit: Our forklift training programs has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained in and understand the safe operation of a forklift.

Regulations and Guidelines: The program is designed to protect the health and safety of workers at the workplace and was developed in accordance with the requirements of the OH&S and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

COVID-19 Protocol: Upon entering our facility for training you will have to follow our COVID Protocols in order to participant in the training. This includes sanitizing your hands upon entry, filling out a COVID questionnaire, passing a temperature check using a Seek Scan device, and wearing a face mask as directed. If you need any accommodations, please let us know in advance so we can ensure our environment is inclusive.
